How to Use OnLine Help

Duplicate Order allows you to create a new order with many of the same settings as an existing order. This saves you time in the order entry process.

Once you duplicate the order, you can adjust its settings on the various order, assignment, and position windows available in StaffSuite.

Before Duplicating an Order

Make sure the order you want to duplicate is in currency, before selecting Duplicate Order on the Order Ribbon. The Title Bar of the Duplicate Order window will show the company and order number of the original order.

Duplicating an Order

  1. In the Branch Servicing field, use to select the staffing service branch that will service the new order. The branch that serviced the original order defaults, but you can select a new one. Only those branches the user has access to display in the drop-list.

  2. In the Save as Type field, select (by clicking in the radio button) whether you are creating a new "regular" order or a standard order. If you select to create a standard order, type the name of the order in the Standard field.

  3. The Assignments/Positions to Create displays a list of each assignment/position on the original order. If you want to duplicate an assignment or position, in addition to the order, click on the box in the left hand column beside the assignment/position you want to duplicate. You may select none, one, some, or all of the assignments/positions listed.

Clicking on a row in the grid allows you to edit information before finalizing the duplication.

  1. When you have made a change to an assignment/position, click the Apply button to apply your changes to that specific row (assignment/position). If you want your changes to update every assignment/position for which you placed a check in the left column's box, click the Apply to All button. The information in the grid automatically updates so you can see your changes on the fly.

  2. When you are satisfied with your changes, click the OK button.
