ACA Full Time Employee Report
The ACA Full Time Employee Report is designed to be run to identify employees who have worked more than 30 hours per week during a specified measurement period. This is to fulfill regulations of the Affordable Care Act.
1) Click Reporting on the main navigation bar and scroll to the Payroll Reports section.
2) Select ACA Full Time Employee Report to enter report criteria.
3) After selecting the report, the ACA Full Time Employee Report workflow will open for selection criteria input.
§ While updating the form, fields marked in red are required to complete the workflow. Click on the buttons to the right of certain fields to open a new window which will allow you to search and select options related to that specific field or choose a date.
§ Select a Corporation, Week Ending Date and the Measurement Period (3, 6, 9 or 12 months).
§ Branch Name is an optional processing criteria and can be used to further define the information you want to see on the report.
4) After entering the criteria click Confirm to generate the report. You can also select Export to Excel to get a .csv file of the report.
5) The report opens in a new window.
§ The header displays report name and criteria used to generate the report.
§ The data is then grouped and sorted by the criteria chosen in the beginning.
§ 6) Information in report:
§ Report is grouped by Corporation, then Employee Branch, then by New/Existing Employee value and finally, by whether the Employee is Eligibility.
§ Report is sorted by Employee Name and in descending order by Start Date.
§ A "New" Employee is one who is associated with a timecard and whose start date occurred during the Measurement Period selected. Otherwise, the employee will be marked as "Existing".
§ "Eligible" employees are those that average over 30 hours of work per week during the Measurement Period.
§ If the Measurement Period is 3 or 6 months, a Stability Period will be indicated on the report. The stability period is 6 months past the Measurement Period. NOTE: An employee is only considered eligible for the Stability Period if they remain employed for the duration.
