Cash Requirements Report

This report provides current week, previous weeks, month-to-date and year-to-date summary financial totals related to your monetary responsibility - grouped and subtotaled by branch and corporation. It lists Total Pay, withholdings by category, deductions and employer costs for the sales posting dates (or check dates) entered.

 

1)   Click Reporting on the main navigation bar and scroll to the Financial Administration Reports section.

2)   Select Cash Requirements Report to open workflow view in a new window.

3)   The Cash Requirements Report workflow will open for format input. The report has two possible formats:

§  Check Date: Report will be run based on the check date.

§  Sales Posting Date: Report will be run based on the date the sales was posted.

4)    4)   The Cash Requirements Report criteria window displays. After selecting your criteria, click Confirm to generate the report or Export to Excel to open the report as a .csv file.

§  While updating the form, fields marked in red are required to complete the workflow. Click on the buttons to the right of certain fields to open a new window which will allow you to search and select options related to that specific field or choose a date.

§  Select a corporation, branch type (determines whether the branch is based on the employee, company or order branch), starting check date (or sales posting date) for the year, starting check date (or sales posting date) for the month, starting check date (or sales posting date) for the week and the ending check (or sales posting) date.

§  Branch Name is an additional optional criteria to further filter the report.

 

5)     The report opens in a new window.

§  The header displays report name and criteria used to generate the report.

 

§  The data is then grouped by Corporation and Branch.

 

 

6)     Calculations in report:

§  Total Gross Pay for the four time periods indicated (Current Week, Prior Weeks, Month-to-Date, Year-to-Date)

§  Total Withholding and Deductions for the four time periods indicated (also detailed by type of withholding)

§  Total Net Pay (Payroll Amount - Withholdings and Deductions)

§  Total Federal Tax Deposit Due for the four time periods indicated (also detailed by type of Federal Tax Deposit)

§  Total Cash Required for the four time periods indicated (Gross Pay + Employer FICA Tax + Employer FICA Medicare Tax + Federal Unemployment + State Unemployment)
