Link To TempBuddy

Use these instructions to link a Client to TempBuddy; all the Worksites and Contacts associated with the Client are automatically linked.

IMPORTANT! There are certain pre-conditions to be validated without which an Adapt Client will not be allowed to be linked to TempBuddy.

  • Make sure the following information on the Client record are available:

    • Company Name
    • Phone number - Main
  • All the Worksites (at least one worksite should be available) under the Client should have the following information available:

    • Full address - Address Line 1, City, State, Postal Code and Country
    • Phone number - Main
  • All the Contacts under the Client should have the following information available:

    • Email address
    • Phone number - Mobile
  1. Click the Link button corresponding to the TempBuddy field to link the Client to TempBuddy. A pop-up prompting you to confirm displays.
  2. ClickYes.

A check flag is set next to the Link button if the client is linked successfully, and journal entries are created (that includes the TempBuddy ID) for the linked Client and associated contacts and worksites.

Note: The Company and associated records are linked and created in TempBuddy only if the pre-conditions discussed earlier in this topic are met, else, an error message is displayed indicating the missing information.

  3. Click the icon to view the company record in TempBuddy.

You will need to enter valid TempBuddy login credentials in order to view the record; if already logged in to TempBuddy, the record is directly presented.

Once linked, clicking the Link button will initiate an update process to TempBuddy and update the following company information (if updated in Adapt):

    • Company Name and Phone Number
    • Contact Name, Phone Number and Address
    • Worksite Name, Phone Number and Address
    • New Worksite added to the company - only if the worksite validations are met, else displays an error message indicating the missing information.
    • New Contact added to the company - only if the contact validations are met, else displays an error message indicating the missing information.

Each of the above information updated via Adapt creates a Journal entry in the respective entity record with From and To values, date, time, and user information. For new Worksite or Contact added, a journal entry is created in the Company record too.
