Link To TempBuddy

Use these instructions to link multiple Candidates to TempBuddy.

Note: The below steps to link multiple Candidates to TempBuddy are taken assuming that the Candidate records does not already exist in TempBuddy. TempBuddy validates a Candidate record with the Email address; if a duplicate email address is found, TempBuddy does not create a new record and instead links with the existing one.

  1. Make sure the following informations on the candidate records are available in order to link the Candidates to TempBuddy:

    • Candidate First and Last Name
    • Candidate Availability: to map to TempBuddy Candidate Status Name
    • Candidate Address: Address Line1, City, State and Zip Code
    • Candidate Phone - (Order of preference – Mobile > Home)
    • Email Address (Email 1)
    • Candidate Username for TempBuddy (Candidate email address)
    • Job Category
  2. Hover over Searching on the navigator and then select Saved Results.
  3. Select a search that matches the corresponding Batch Activity category. For this workflow your search should be a Candidate Search.
  4. In the Activities drop-list, select Batch Processes > Candidates > Link To TempBuddy.

    Note: You can also open the saved search, select individual records then run the workflow from the Batch menu inside the search. To view if the candidate is linked to TempBuddy, add the Linked to TempBuddy column to the Candidate Search grid using the Formatter Tool available under Options menu.

  5. The Link To TempBuddy workflow opens a pop-up prompting you to confirm if you want to link the candidates to TempBuddy.

    • Click Yes. A message is displayed indicating the number of candidates successfully linked, failed, and/or already existing.

      For all the Candidates sent over to TempBuddy, a check flag is set next to the Link button and a Candidate journal is created that includes the TempBuddy ID.
