Preferences - Employment Type |
Employment Type allows you to add, edit, or remove employee/assignment/position preference concerning the type of work he/she wants (employee) or it provides (assignment/position).
Employment Type
The Grid
The Employment Type grid contains the following information:
Type: Indicates the type of employment. Options are user-defined and can be edited on the Edit List Basic window.
Importance: Indicates whether the employee/assignment/position prefers the employment type, is willing to accept it, or finds it unacceptable.
The Options
The following options are available from the grid:
New: Allows you to add a new employment type preference to the grid.
Edit: Allows you to edit information about the selected employment type preference.
Remove: Allows you to delete the selected employment type preference from the grid.
Adding/Editing Employment Type Preferences
Upon selecting New or Edit, the New Employment Type or Edit Employment Type window displays.
If you are adding an employment type preference, select the type from the Type List by clicking on it. If you are editing a type preference, this field is inactive. NOTE: The list only shows types that have not already been included in the grid.
In the Importance field, select Preferred if the employee/assignment/position prefers this employment type. Select Acceptable if the employee is willing to work in or assignment/position is willing to offer this type of employment, but it is not his/her/its first choice. Select Unacceptable if the employee/assignment/position refuses to work in/offer this type of employment.
Click OK to save your information and close the window. Click Apply to save your information, but leave the window open.
