Preferences - Wage/Salary |
Wage/Salary allows you to add, edit, or remove an employee's/assignment's/position's preferences concerning temporary and direct-hire compensation.
Temporary
The Grid
The Temporary grid contains the following information:
Period: Time period upon which the minimum and desired wage is based. Options are Annually, Daily, Hourly, Monthly, and Weekly.
Minimum: The minimum wage for the time period that the employee will accept or the assignment will provide.
Desired/Maximum: The employee's desired wage or the assignment's maximum wage for the time period indicated.
The Options
The following options are available from the grid:
New: Allows you to add a new wage preference to the grid.
Edit: Allows you to edit information about the selected wage preference.
Remove: Allows you to delete the selected wage preference from the grid.
Adding/Editing Temporary Wage Preferences
Upon selecting New or Edit, the New Temporary Wages or Edit Temporary Wages window displays.
If you are adding a temporary wage preference, select the period from the Period List by clicking on it. If you are editing a wage preference, this field is inactive. NOTE: The list only shows periods that have not already been included in the grid.
Enter the minimum amount that the employee will accept or the assignment will provide (based on the period indicated) in the Minimum field.
Enter the employee's desired amount of compensation or the assignment's maximum amount of compensation possible (based on the period indicated) in the Desired/Maximum field.
Click OK to save your information and close the window. Click Apply to save your information, but leave the window open.
Direct-Hire
The Grid
The Direct Hire grid contains the following information:
Period: Time period upon which the minimum and desired salary is based. Options are Annually, Daily, Hourly, Monthly, and Weekly.
Minimum: The minimum salary for the time period that the employee will accept or the position will provide.
Desired/Maximum: The employee's desired salary or the position's highest salary possible for the time period indicated.
The Options
The following options are available from the grid:
New: Allows you to add a new salary preference to the grid.
Edit: Allows you to edit information about the selected salary preference.
Remove: Allows you to delete the selected salary preference from the grid.
Adding/Editing Direct-Hire Salary Preferences
Upon selecting New or Edit, the New Full-Time Wages or Edit Full-Time Wages window displays.
If you are adding a full-time wage preference, select the period from the Period List by clicking on it. If you are editing a wage preference, this field is inactive. NOTE: The list only shows periods that have not already been included in the grid.
Enter the minimum amount that the employee will accept or the minimum salary offered on the position (based on the period indicated) in the Minimum field.
Enter the employee's desired amount of compensation or the position's maximum salary offered (based on the period indicated) in the Desired/Maximum field.
Click OK to save your information and close the window. Click Apply to save your information, but leave the window open.
Other Compensation
Type any other compensation the employee would like to receive or the assignment/position provides in this field. This is a free form text field. Thus, you can use your <Enter> key to start a new line.
