Profiles - Ind/Occupations |
Ind/Occupations allows you to add, edit, or remove information about the company's/assignment's/position's industry and occupational needs.
In the case of Vendor, it indicates the Industries/Occupations that the vendor provides.
Industries
The Grid
The Industries grid contains the following information:
Name: Name of the industry.
Level: The level of expertise in this industry desired by the company/assignment/position or provided by the vendor.
Importance: The level of importance that the company/assignment/position places on the employee having experience in this industry. For vendor, it indicates whether the vendor prefers to provide employees who have experience in this industry.
Updated Date: The date that the information about this industry was last updated.
Updated By: The staffing service rep who last updated the information
The Options
The following options are available from the grid:
Main: Designates the selected industry as the main industry. This is the industry in which the company/assignment/position would most prefer an employee to have experience with. For vendor, it is the main industry they provide.
TIP: If you designate the Main Occupation for an Assignment, it will help you to identify it on the Assignment grid list.
New: Allows you to add a new industry to the grid.
Edit: Allows you to edit information about the selected industry.
Remove: Allows you to delete the selected industry from the grid.
Adding/Editing Industries
Upon selecting New or Edit, the New Industry or Edit Industry window displays.
If you are adding an industry, select the industry from the Industry List by clicking on it. If you are editing an industry, this field is inactive.
Select the level of expertise desired by the company/assignment/position or provided by the vendor by clicking on it in the Level field.
Select the importance the company/assignment/position places on the employee having experience in this industry (or, for vendor, whether they prefer to provide employees who have experience in this industry), by clicking on it in the Importance field.
NOTE: Industries are user-defined and can be changed by using StaffSuite's Edit List functionality.
Occupations
The Grid
The Occupations grid contains the following information:
Name: Name of the occupation.
Level: The level of expertise in this occupation desired by the company/assignment/position or provided by the vendor.
Importance: The level of importance that the company/assignment/position places on the employee having experience in this occupation. For vendor, it indicates whether the vendor prefers to provide employees who have experience in this occupation.
Updated Date: The date that the information about this occupation was last updated.
Updated By: The staffing service rep who last updated the information
