PayBill Division |
PayBill is the "show me the money" division of StaffSuite. This is where you enter timesheets, calculate and print checks, total and print invoices, accept payments, make adjustments, etc. Want to create a manual check? Want to produce a direct deposit payroll? Want to create balance forward transactions? PayBill is the place.
NOTE: PayBill is an optional add-on to StaffSuite and the following categories will only appear if you have purchased this option.
The following list provides an overview of the functionality of each category on the PayBill Navigator. If you want more specific information about the category, click on the link and you will be taken to that category's main topic page.
TimeKeeper: StaffSuite allows PayBill users to import Time and Attendance system files into the application. You can view information in the file, select transactions to add, and then create timesheets in a new or existing batch. If a transaction fails to import, StaffSuite notifies you and imports all the other transactions.
Payroll: This is where you calculate check amounts and update your payroll data. Various diagnostic programs ensure that your payroll amounts balance BEFORE you actually update the files in your database. It is here that you also set up Direct Deposit transactions.
Billing: The Billing category is where you update your billing data files so you can create invoices. As with Payroll, various diagnostic programs help ensure your invoices are correct the first time. If changes need to be made, the process can be reset, adjustments made, and then resumed. You can also make invoice sales adjustments through the Billing category.
Government Reporting: This category allows you to create files for federal (W2's) and state (quarterlies) tax reporting. You can create print and diskette files for each of your corporations.
Vendor: This category allows you to process your Vendor Pay transactions to create checks for the vendors and update system balances.
