Healthcare Act Maintenance SysAdmin > Corporation > Actions > Healthcare Act Maintenance |
Healthcare Act Maintenance provides access to add, edit or remove a Healthcare Act Maintenance record.
The screen contains the following columns:
Status: Indicates whether the Healthcare Act Information record is active or inactive. There can only be one active Healthcare Act Information record per corporation at any one time. However, you can add multiple inactive records (for example, you may want to set up a record for the following year in advance of the beginning of the year).
Please Note: StaffSuite uses the record that is currently active when making ACA calculations. Thus, if you set up yearly measurement periods, you will need to come into this window at the end of the year and change the active record to the one covering the new year.
Also Note: If you use measurement periods less than a year, you will need to edit the Healthcare Act Information at period intervals so that the information on the screen is correct. For example, if your measurement period is quarterly, then every three months you will need to access this window and edit the applicable record to change the Measurement Period.
Description: The Description the Staffing Service has noted for this Healthcare Act Information record. For example: 2014 Bond International Corp A.
Measurement Period Begin: The begin date of the Measurement Period associated with this record.
Calendar Year: The calendar year (January 1 to December 31) with which this Healthcare Act Information record is associated.
Measurement Period: The length of the Measurement Period associated with this Healthcare Act Information record.
ACA Strategy: Indicates whether the Staffing Service has decided to Pay or Play for this Calendar Year.
