On the Quick Company Look Up window, make sure that:
Level and Branch Servicing is set to <All>
Parent, Component, and Company Number are blank
and click the button.
The Companies Grid displays the results of your search.
In the Parent field, enter the name of the company's parent component. If you are not sure of the exact name, you can enter part of the name and the system will find any name starting with the letters you enter. For example, "ac" would find Acme, Acworth, etc. You can also leave the field blank if you are not looking for a specific parent name. NOTE: This looks for a match with either the Alias OR the name of the parent component.
In the Component field, enter the name of the company for which you are looking. If you are not sure of the exact name, you can enter part of the name and the system will find any name starting with the letters you enter. For example, "ac" would find Acme, Acworth, etc. You can also leave the field blank if you are not looking for a specific name. NOTE: This looks for a match with either the Alias OR the name of the component.
In the Level field, use to select the level (department, division, location, parent) of company component for which you are looking. If you are not looking for a specific level, select <all>.
In the Branch Servicing field, use to select the staffing service branch servicing the company for which you are looking. Depending on how the Staffing Service Rep was set up in System Administration, this will either default to the Home Branch of the Staffing Service Rep or it will default to <All>. If you are not looking for a specific branch, select <All>.
TIP: Do this quickly by Tabbing to this field and clicking the Home key on your keyboard to default <All> into the field.
In the Company Number field, enter the ID number of the company for which you are looking. If you are not sure of the exact number, you can enter part of the number followed by an asterisk (*). The asterisk acts as a wildcard and will find any ID number starting with the numbers you enter. For example, "11*" would find 1123, 11875, etc. You can also leave the field blank if you are not looking for a specific ID number.
