The Quick Access Toolbar

How to Use OnLine Help

The Quick Access Toolbar is designed to allow you single-click access to the functionality you use most often. It is located in the upper left corner, by default, and is fully customizable.

The screenshot above displays the default Quick Access Toolbar. You can see the functionality of each icon on the toolbar by hovering your mouse over it. This opens a small "hover text" window displaying what the icon does when clicked. This is useful until you become familiar with the icon itself.

From left to right on the default toolbar:

Displays the standard Windows menu allowing access to Restore, Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize and Close functionality.

 

 

From left to right:

  • Selects the record in the first (top) row of the Main Grid.

  • Selects the row above the currently selected row on the Main Grid.

  • Selects the row below the currently selected row on the Main Grid.

  • Selects the record in the last (bottom) row on the Main Grid.
 

 

From left to right:

  • Displays the Basic Info window of the Employee in currency.

  • Displays the Basic Info window of the Company in currency.

  • Displays the Basic Info window of the Company Rep in currency.

  • Displays the Basic Info window of the Assignment in currency.

  • Displays the Basic Info window of the Position in currency.

  • Displays the Basic Info window of the Order in currency.
 

 

From left to right:

  • Displays the Task List for the logged-in Staffing Service Rep.

  • Opens the Query Builder application.

  • Opens the Crystal Enterprise URL.

  • Saves changes made to the currently selected record.

  • Refreshes the data on the record in the Detail Pane.

  • Opens StaffSuite's Online Help System (that's what you're using right now!)
   

Click the light bulb icon above (upper right) or click the back arrow below to return to the StaffSuite Main Window topic. From there, you can explore a different part of StaffSuite's main window or continue your step-by-step introduction to StaffSuite.
