WorldLink Routing Staffing Service Branch > Viewer > WorldLink Routing |
The WorldLink Routing window allows you to tell StaffSuite which rep(s) should receive WorldLink notifications (email and/or tasks). You can select one or more reps from a list of all reps associated with the branch.
NOTE: If the Route to Inactive User checkbox in the WorldLink Defaults screen is checked, you will see inactive users as well as active users in the list of available staffing service reps on the left side of the WorldLink Routing window. This feature might be used to set up a dummy user for all WorldLink routing in a branch. This checkbox also identifies whether an inactive user can receive a notification from WorldLink when a specific action is taken.
Here is how it works:
Candidate Registration: If the branch is set up to Route to Inactive Users then the task is routed to the rep indicated in the Branch Routing for the Candidate's branch, whether the rep is active or not. If Route to Inactive is not set up, then the task is assigned to an active user in the Branch Routing. If there are no reps in the Branch Routing or none are active (and Route to Inactive is not set up), then the task is assigned to the WorldLink Branch's Default Contact. If the rep who is assigned the task has no email address (and the system is configured to send an email), then an error will be logged.
Maintain Candidate: The task is assigned to the employee's assigned staffing service rep, if the rep is active. If there is no assigned rep (or the rep is inactive) then the task is assigned to a rep in the Branch Routing. If the branch is set to Route To Inactive Users, then the task is assigned to the rep indicated in Branch Routing whether the rep is active or not. If Route to Inactive is not set up, then the task is assigned to an active user in the Branch Routing. If there are no reps in the Branch Routing or none are active (and Route to Inactive is not set up), then the task is assigned to the WorldLink Branch's Default Contact.
Apply for Opportunity (Job): First, the system will try to assign the task to the Application To rep. If this rep is inactive, the system will assign it to the Taken By rep on the Order associated with the assignment/position. If that rep is inactive, then the system will determine the Order Branch for the assignment/position and select a rep in the Branch's Routing Table. If the rep who is assigned the task has no email address (and the system is configured to send an email), then an error will be logged.
Add Staffing Request: If the company does not have a service rep (or the service rep is inactive), the system uses the Branch's Routing Table. If the rep who is assigned the task has no email address (and the system is configured to send an email), then an error will be logged.
