Code

Enter the code used to identify the Deduction type. This code is entered when adding a Deduction Code.

If you are not sure of the exact code, you can enter part of the code followed by an asterisk (*). The asterisk acts as a wildcard and will find any code starting with the letters you enter. For example, "l*" would find levy, loan, etc.

You can also leave the field blank if you are not looking for a specific code.

 

 

Description

Enter the description of the Deduction code for which you are looking. The description is entered when adding a Deduction Code.

You can also leave the field blank if you are not looking for a specific description.

 

 

Category

Use to select the category associated with the Deduction Code for which you are searching.

Options are - 125 Cash, 125 No Cash, 401K, Child Support, Employer, Garnishment, Levy, Regular.

If you are not looking for a specific category, select <all>.

 

 

Type

Use to select the type associated with the Deduction Code for which you are searching.

Options are - Advanced Pay or Loan, Bracketed Fixed $, Bracketed Pct, Counter Fixed $, Counter Pct, Declining Balance, Fixed $ per pay period, Fixed Pct per pay period, User Defined Formula.

If you are not looking for a specific type, select <all>.

 

 

OK/Cancel

Click OK to close the Look Up window and display the results in the Deduction Code Grid.

Click Cancel to close the Look Up window without doing a search for Deduction Codes.
