How to Use OnLine Help

Process Direct Deposit Transmission creates the actual transmission file that needs to be transmitted to the bank.

  1. The controls for Optional Processing Criteria are disabled for Direct Deposit Transmission since those options are timesheet and batch specific.

  2. When you are satisfied with the information you have entered, click the button to process the direct deposit transmission.

  3. The progress bar will track the completion percentage of the process.

  4. When the process is complete, the system displays a window telling you the location of all reports created during processing (including the transmission file itself).

NOTE: When you have successfully sent the transmission file to the bank, either delete it or move it from its currently location in your system. Until the file is moved, it will continue to show up in the Reset Direct Deposit Transmission window. Thus, it is possible that someone might accidentally reset a transmission that has already been successfully sent to the financial institution.
