Finding a Specific Assignment

  1. In the Order Branch field, use to select the staffing service branch that services the order for which the assignment you are looking for is associated. Depending on how the Staffing Service Rep was set up in System Administration, this will either default to the Home Branch of the Staffing Service Rep or it will default to <All>. NOTE: Only those branches that the user has security access to display in the drop-list. If you are not looking for a specific branch servicing, select <All>.

  2. In the Order-Assignment Number field, enter the order and/or assignment number for which you are looking. If you are not sure of the exact number, you can enter part of the number followed by an asterisk (*). The asterisk acts as a wildcard and will find any number starting with the numbers you enter. For example, "11*" would find 1134, 11832, etc. You can enter only an order number to find all assignments for a specific order. You can enter only an assignment number to find a specific assignment. You can also leave the field blank if you are not looking for a specific number.

  3. You can use the checkboxes in the Status area to look up assignments with a specific status. If none of the boxes are checked, the system will search for assignments no matter what the status. If one or more boxes are checked, the system will search for assignments with only those checked statuses. For example:

  4. If you check Open and Filled, the system will search for all assignments with a status of Open and also for all assignments with a status of Filled.

  5. The Standard checkbox will search only for assignments that are generated from any standard order.

  6. If you check the Hot Job checkbox, the system will search for all assignments created from orders which were flagged as "hot jobs" in the Order Add Wizard, or in the Order Basic screen.

Clicking on a box toggles it between checked and unchecked.

  1. In the Secondary Source field, use to select whether you want to include secondary source assignments in your search. Select Secondary Source Only to search ONLY secondary source assignments. Select Exclude Secondary Source to search ONLY regular (non-secondary source) assignments. Select <None> to search both secondary source and regular assignments.

  2. When you are satisfied with all your selections above, click the button.

  3. The Assignments Grid displays the results of your search.
