Finding a Specific Order

  1. In the Branch Servicing field, use to select the staffing service branch that services the order for which you are looking. Depending on how the Staffing Service Rep was set up in System Administration, this will either default to the Home Branch of the Staffing Service Rep or it will default to <All>. NOTE: Only those branches that the user has security access to display in the drop-list. If you are not looking for a specific branch servicing, select <All>.

  2. In the Type field, use to choose whether you want to search temporary or direct-hire orders. If you aren't interested in searching for a specific type of order, select <All>.

  3. In the Number field, enter the number of the order for which you are looking. If you are not sure of the exact number, you can enter part of the number followed by an asterisk (*). The asterisk acts as a wildcard and will find any number starting with the numbers you enter. For example, "11*" would find 1134, 11832, etc. You can also leave the field blank if you are not looking for a specific number.

  4. You can use the checkboxes in the Status area to look up orders with a specific status. If none of the boxes are checked, the system will search for orders no matter what the status. If one boxes is checked, the system will search for orders with only that statuses. If more than one box is checked, the system will search for orders that meet both or all criteria and only present those.

  5. If you check New, the system will search for all orders with a status of New.

  6. If you check Active, the system will search for all orders with a status of Active.

  7. If you check the Standard checkbox, a field displays allowing you to enter the number of the standard order. If you leave this field blank, the system will search for any standard order.

  8. If you check the Inactive checkbox, the system will search for all orders with a status of Inactive.

Clicking on a box toggles it between checked and unchecked.

  1. Check the Hot Job checkbox to search for all orders which were flagged as "hot jobs" in the Order Add Wizard, or in the Order Basic screen. Your staffing service will define what "Hot Job" means to you and how you will use it.

  2. When you are satisfied with all your selections above, click the button.

  3. The Orders Grid displays the results of your search.
