Add Invoice Sales Adjustment allows you to make adjustments to the amount of an invoice. For example, if a customer was accidentally overcharged, you could issue a corrected invoice using Invoice Sales Adjustment.
Adding an Invoice Sales Adjustment
Add a position billing transaction for the original position(s) invoiced.

In the PayBill Code Grid, select the PayBill code that needs adjusting in the PayBill Code column. Enter a minus amount in the appropriate column of the grid. For example, if you wanted to reduce the bill amount by $60.50, enter -60.50 in the Full Fee column. On the other hand, if you wanted to reduce the discount amount by $10.75, enter -10.75 in the Discount column.

In the Original Invoice field, enter the invoice number that is being corrected or click to look up an invoice (if you don't know the original number).

Invoice Date displays automatically. The grid displays the changes to the invoice that will occur IF the batch is proof and posted and billing updated.
When you are satisfied with the information you have entered, click the button to save the invoice sales adjustment or click the button to close the window without saving any information.
NOTE: Click the button to clear the Associated Invoice field and remove the association between the adjustment and the invoice.
