Looking Up a Batch

There are four options on the Batch Look Up window:

Adding a Batch

On the Batch Look Up window, click the button. You can also use the Add Batch option on the PayBill Ribbon.

Finding All Batches

On the Batch Look Up window, make sure that:

and click the button.

The Batch Grid displays the results of your search.

Finding a Specific Batch

  1. In the Batch Type field, use to select the Transaction Type (A/R Adjustments, A/R Payments. Balance Forwards, Banking, Position Billings, Timesheets, Vendor Pay, Void Payroll Checks, or Void Vendor Check) for which you are looking. You can also select <all> to search for all Transaction Types.

  2. In the Batch Identifier field, enter the unique Batch ID for which you are looking. You can also leave this field blank if you are not looking for a specific batch ID.

  3. In the Corporation  field, use to select the Corporation for which you are looking. You can also select <all> to search for all corporations.

  4. In the Batch Branch field, use to select the branch associated with the batch for which you are looking. You can also select <all> to search for all branches.

  5. In the Batch Status field, use to select the current status of the batch you want to find. Valid statuses are Available for Entry, Selected for Proofing, Proofed, Selected For Posting, Posted, and In Use. You can also select <all> to search for all statuses.

  6. In the Default Work Period Ending field, use to select the work period ending date of the batch for which you are looking. You can also leave this field blank if you are not looking for a specific ending date. Click here for information on using StaffSuite's calendar.

  7. When you are satisfied with all your selections above, click the button.

  8. The Batch Grid displays the results of your search.

Cancelling Without Searching

To close the Batch Control Look Up window without searching for a batch, click the button.
