The corporation is an entity for each Federal ID or Employer ID under which a Staffing Service reports to the Federal Government. A Federal ID is required for reporting federal withholding and unemployment. For every federal or employer ID, you should have one corporation entered into the StaffSuite system. Thus, if you have three federal ID's, you should enter three corporations.

Staffing Service relates to corporation on a one to many basis. You can have many corporations for any one staffing service component. A staffing service may use various Federal ID numbers to report taxing information. It is also possible to have many staffing service components for one corporation, but for the purposes of using the software, StaffSuite associates it at the highest level. For example, you might have a main staffing service component and two divisions using the same Federal ID number. However, StaffSuite only associates the corporation to the highest level (main staffing service).
