NOTE: Assessment licenses for the SuccessCheck module are handled separately. Click here for more information on installing an assessment license.
Getting a New License
Anytime you want the entitled number of users to increase or decrease, you should:
Contact Bond and request a new license file.
Once you receive the file from Bond, save it to your PC (or a server accessible by the StaffSuite application).
Installing the New License
Once you have the license saved to an accessible PC or server, you can either:
Click the Install button on the License Basic window or
Select License Install in the License/Actions folder in System Administration Navigator.
The Install License window displays:
.
Click and navigate to the license file on your PC or server (it has a .lic suffix).
Once the file has been located and appears in the Install License File window, click Install.
Verifying the Installation
When the installation has completed, the system displays the message, "File successfully imported."
Go to the License Basic window, copy the information in the Verification Key field, and send the contents of the field to Bond. When you send the information, be sure to include your staffing service name, System Administrator's name, his/her phone number, and your Support case number.
Important Information
If your new license has fewer seats than your previous one, you must manually deactivate the users who are no longer allowed to log in or risk locking out valid users. You can deactivate users by performing a Quick Staffing Service Rep Look Up, accessing each user's Staffing Service Rep Basic screen, and updating the appropriate information in the Active field. The installation of a new license does not automatically deactivate your named users.
If the installation is unsuccessful due to selecting an invalid format (one that does not end in .lic) or an invalid file (one that was previously installed), the system displays the message, "This is not a valid license. Please try again or call Application Support." If this occurs, select the file again (making sure it is the newest license file). If you are still unable to load the license, call Customer Support.
