Record Position Contact Employee Ribbon > Activities Group > Activity Type > Record Position Contact |
Record Position Contact gives you access to three activities that allow you to record the steps taken when contacting an employee about a position that does not conclude with a placement. Since this is similar to Record Availability Call, it is important to understand the distinction. Use Record Availability Call when an employee calls to say they are ready to work, but you have not yet matched him/her to a position. If in the process of placing a position, you contact an employee about the position, select Record Position Contact if you can not reach the employee, the employee rejects the position, or you are simply calling to gauge interest in the position.
The following options are available (click on the option for more information):
Employee Interest: Allows you to record that you reached an employee to offer them a position and he/she said they were interested, but did not immediately commit to being placed.
Employee Rejection: Allows you to record that you reached an employee to offer them a position, but he/she turned down the offer.
Unsuccessful Call: Allows you to record that you attempted to reach an employee to offer them a position, but were unable to reach him/her.
