Security System Administration > Security |
Security allows you to determine who has access to what in the system. It can be set up in any one of these individual ways, or in some combinations of these: branch security, title security, individual security, and document security.
Branch security determines which branches have access to which other branches. StaffSuite gives you the power to create reciprocal security (2 branches have access to each other) or one-way security (one branch can "see" the other, but can not be "see" in return).
Title security determines which actions, functions and views are accessible to a title (coordinator, salesperson, manager, etc.). Using this security feature, you can give your coordinators access to options not available to your receptionist. This ensures that only the appropriate rep has access to confidential information.
Individual security to perform a mass field update has two layers; the first, and normal layer of assigning security by staffing service rep role in the Assignments area of Title Security, and the second layer of assigning permission to staffing service reps by name. Individual security also allows staffing service reps to be allowed to view employee social security numbers, or blocked from viewing them. In addition, document security allows you to determine who has access to documents stored using the Document Management System.
